Bird Products
-
Which birds can I use Avimec on?
Avimec is only registered for use on budgerigars.
-
Can I use Wormout Gel, Avian Insect Liquidator or Coccivet on my poultry?
Whilst these are very safe products, they are not registered for use in food producing animals. We do not recommend their use in egg-laying or meat poultry, or provide any withholding information.
-
Do you use natural colours and dyes in your Nutriblend Pellets?
We use human-grade food colours and flavours.
-
Why does my bird only eat certain colours of Nutriblend Pellets?
Each colour pellet is a different flavour. Red is raspberry, green is apple, blue is blueberry and yellow is plain/unflavoured. Your bird may favour one colour/flavour over another, eating all of those ones first!
-
How do I get my bird to eat Vetafarm pellets?
Birds need to be converted on to pellets, as they often don’t initially recognise them as food if they have been on a seed diet. Visit our Conversion Guide to learn how.
