Pigeon Spectovet was formulated by avian veterinarians to treat a range of bacterial infections in Pigeons. These may include, Mycoplasma spp. (Chronic Respiratory Disease), Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Corynebacteria spp., E. coli and Salmonella spp.
The antibiotics within the Pigeon Spectovet are readily absorbed by the body and achieve effective levels in all body fluids and tissues including respiratory tissues.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For the treatment of infections susceptible to the action of Lincomycin and Spectinomycin in pigeons.
Give 1 tablet daily for birds up to 500g of body weight for 5-7 days.
Give 2 tablets daily for birds 500g-1Kg of body weight for 5-7 days.
RESTRAINTS: DO NOT allow rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses or ruminants to access feed containing Spectovet. Ingestion by these species may result in severe gastrointestinal effects.
