Heartworm Tablets effectively prevent heartworm disease in dogs by the elimination of heartworm larvae (Dirofilaria immitis) which are acquired from infected mosquitoes within the previous 30 days.
This product is safe and effective prevention in an easy monthly dose. It is a low priced, value for money product.
Do not use in puppies under 6 weeks of age.
For dogs 26-49lb (12-22kg) give one Vetafarm Heartworm tablet orally or crushed in food.
Treatment for heartworm should occur regularly at 28-30 day intervals.
The first chew should be given before exposure to infected mosquitoes and only given to heartworm free dogs.
May be given to pregnant and stud dogs
