Cavy Origins Junior provides veterinary formulated nutrition, with fresh-farm grown virgin hay at its core and functional ingredients to give young guinea pigs the best start to life.

Key Features:

• Brain Development - Omega long-chain fatty acids DHA and EPA support brain and retinal development and aid the developing immune system.
• Gut Development - Prebiotics feed good bacteria, while postbiotics support immunity and digestion. A 9-strain blend promotes gut diversity and health.
• Growth - Higher protein is important for junior guinea pigs as it ensures they can grow and develop properly.
• Reduced risk of Vitamin C Deficiency - Added stabilised vitamin C is very important as guinea pigs are unable to produce their own vitamin C.

To support the demands of development, young guinea pigs should have unlimited access to Cavy Origins Junior from weaning until 6 months of age. In addition, quality high-protein hay should be made readily available during this time. You can also provide a small amount of healthy treats such as fresh fruits, vegetables and Vetafarm’s Herbivore Harvest DeliStix.

Once matured, guinea pigs should be transitioned onto Cavy Origins Adult with a measured amount of formulated food made available daily to prevent obesity.

General feeding directions for most senior guinea pigs: 20% Pellets, 75% Lucerne Hay, 5% Treats.

Storage

Store in out of direct sunlight and below 30°C. Consume within 30 days of opening for optimum freshness.
